I already unlocked the 1.1.1 iphone (went to so many steps, and unlocked with anySim1.1). Now since there is a much clean process, CAN I restore my iphone using iTune back to it's unactivate mode, and run through jailbreakme.com? Since it fixes the bug.

I can restore >> jailbreak >> anySim1.1 >> restore >> jailbreak >> anySim1.1...again and agian, right?

AnySim do not need to be run twice.

I have a similar question, I had a 1.1.1 iPhone that i downgraded the firmware to 1.0.2 and is unlocked by anysim V1.1. Can i just upgrade my phone to 1.1.1 and go jailbreakme and will it work?

Also, it was my understanding that you do have to run AnySim V1.1 every time you restore the phone?

I hope this helps.. I had a 1.0.2 unlocked I virginized it. Used Indepen to do the pre 1.1.1 set up. I upgraded to 1.1.1 + anysim unlock. I upgrade my computers OS to 10.5 and accidently hit restore in itunes.. Well my 1.1.1 phone told me to active again... So I ran Indepn for the heck of it and it activated and jail breaked it just find without having to use a the TIFF exploit.. So my guess is once your phone has been activated the proper files needed are left on the phone even during a restore.

Hmm... So does that mean its okay for me to upgrade to 1.1.1 and then jailbreak? Im a lil confused.....
