i used modmyiphone.com and i got to the very end when i started getting issues on my new iphone. i posted earlier about endless reboots but i think the problem is actually something different. i used my tmobile sim and the screen read tmobile in the top left corner and i actually was receiving calls and i managed to send one text message. when i try to revert back to the main screen the whole screen except for the top bar turns black. sometimes it turns off and reboots or just gives me a black screen with the gray apple logo on it. ive been trying to restore to the factory setting to try again but that in itself has been a project. when holding option and clicking restore im struggling to get the right files and such....i dont think i downloaded it properly or maybe saved it incorrectly. itunes gives me an error message saying it cannot be restored with a (1) at the end. The help received on this forum so far has been great, i just figured a new thread would be a good idea since the problem is actually something different than i originally thought.
