As I recall, I left it in during most of the process, and up to the end of step 3. That is when I swapped SIM's and replaced it with the T-Mobile SIM.

16 GB stuck in jailbreak.jar
Hi Guys, I got my 16GB iphone and followed the iclarified method, everything went right, until running the jailbreak.jar, even after I installed oktoprep before, keeps on telling me "it does not work if oktoprep is not installed before" sort of.
Have you guys had this problem? any ideas?
Thanks in advance!

If it reports that fact, then I have to believe it didn't get installed while you were under 1.1.1. You need to revert back to 1.1.1 and install it again before upgrading to 1.1.2. Also double check to make sure you're installing Oktoprep correctly.

Note: Follow the above document but omit the Downgrade of Baseband instructions!
Why do you recommend not to downgrade the baseband? What if you plan to stay in 1.1.2?

Crapman, you Phone is still in restore mode. Use ibrickr 0.91 or other method to kick phone out of dfu mode and then use jailberak 1.1.2
