Hello,

is there a way to unlock the iPhone (with anysim or whatever) without having a working Wi-Fi connection? I#m having problems getting Wi-Fi to work so I can't use AppTap to install the desired Programs () for anySim. With Independence i get anySim on my Phone but it wont work there, maybe because of the missing software.

Wi-Fi isn't working because of getting no connection to my router (its an old t-sinus 130 dsl). but maybe there is a way to unlock it without wifi, would be great if somebody can help me with that.

Check out ifuntastic.. I discovered it after I did the unlock but I am sure it will let you do it. I think you can get to the right files that you need re place.

use ibrickr, and upload anysim to your phone, its under the aplications list

I tried ifuntastic and managed to get anysim on my iphone but after starting anysim, it just shows the screen with the unlock-slider. i couldn't slide it and anysim ends after a minute or so and returned to the main menu. any conclusion why it wont work ?

now i will get ibrickr and windows a chance

Restore to FW 1.0.2 (even if you have 1.0.2 on iPhone do it again) and go to

got anysim to work (with ibrickr) and it ends by saying that the unlock was sucessful, but my sim still is locked and i#m asked to go to itunes. do i have to restore the phone again, to give it another try because starting anysim again wont work as it seems?

and does it matter wich sim is in the phone while executing anysim? the new one, the at&t one or no sim card?

one more info, my sim card has a pin lock. does this influence the unlock process of anysim?

unfortunately the step-by-step to unlock the iphone on hackint0sh didn't say to activate the phone again after anysim ends. so i retored the phone again, tried the whole procedure again and anysim told me that the phone was already patched. and my sim kept not working. but after another activation with independence on my mac it finally worked.

so the last two days weren't for nothing at least, and thanks to my girlfriend for being so patiently ;-)
