Surprised the instructions aren't already here (The site IS called Hacintosh after all!), but I've checked a lot of threads and I cannot find an unlock/jailbreak guide for MacOSX. (There was one, but the link is dead.) All use ibricker, which seems to be a Windows app...

Can someone point me to a MacOS tutorial?

1. download installer.app from http://iphone.nullriver.com/beta/
2. run software and follow instructions
3. on your iPhone run Installer and install anySIM
4. Run anySIM - Done!

Here is a tutorial how to unlock your phone in OSX although I find above method the easiest one.

Is anysim on installer.app now? If so, that solves my unlock problem, but not the jailbreak problem...


EDIT: Just tried this... anysim is not one of the programs in installer.app

I don't know how you could have done this?

NullRiver has decided they did not want anySIM.app to be available in the Community Sources list of packages available in Installer.app. They believe it could draw negative attention Installer.app from Apple/AT&T and hinder third party development.
