Well, like I noted at the start of the guide, you'll probably run into problems if you didn't do a complete restore from disk mode.
Also, updated to guide with the neccessity to have BSD Subsystem installed.

I am trying to connect to my iphone using winscp to remove the anysim.app but I am unable to connect to my phone. Does anyone know the username and password, I though it was root and alpine.
I am getting a connection refused error.

It didn't worked for me. My iPhone was working with non AT&T SIM when I purchased. It was 1.0.2 and I fully update it to 1.1.1 using iTunes. Now it says "incorrect sim, insert an unlocked and valid sim to activate iPhone". I assume it was already unlocked when I purchased it. Now procedure doesn't work for me. I only tried two times and wait for about 10min but at the last step never hear iPhone calls itself no matter how mlong I wait on the emergency dial screen.

Sorry about my post repeated. I don't know why this happened.
About virginalizing I am not sure this will make situation worth and the iPhone useless. I want to be sure of everything first. Virginalizing will change version but modem (or baseband as some says) or frmware will not change and need another procedure to change it back. Also I have seen some reports about IMEI change too.
