Unable to be kicked out of yellow connect to itunes logo, freezes at apple logo
hey guys!
I've read many guides and tried all sorts of methods (win+mac) to try to get my iphone out of the please connect to itunes logo after downgrading 1.1.1 to 1.0.2. I've tried independence, apptapp, and all kinds of stuff, but it does not kick me out of the recovery mode. independence says Detected iphone in recovery mode, disconnects it, and never connects back.
Even after rebooting the phone, the phone gets stuck at the apple logo. However, if i restore to 1.1.1 again, it shows the activate itunes page. Is it possible to activate and jailbreak 1.1.1 from there, then downgrade baseband from 1.1.1 and revirginise it? The phone was previously unlocked with anysim1.0.2 before upgrading to 1.1.1 so it's kind of bricked.
Thanks for any help in advance.

Use this guide.
http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/showthread.php?t=13004
1. First you need to enter your iphone into DFU mode.
2. Restore to 1.0.2 Using iTungs + SHIFT key
3. Use old AppTapp and PAYCAY to activate it
4. Install BSD subsystem and OpenSSH
5. Upload kengz reverginize pack to your iphone
6. Putty to your iphone and execute commands from that guide.
7. Update to 1.1.1 with iTunes
8. Follow "how to unlock 1.1.1" guide
9. Good lucks

The problem is that, after restoring through DFU mode, I cannot get kicked out of recovery mode and i get stuck on apple logo on boot.

I have an iPhone with the same problem, wether its at 1.1.1 or downgraded to 1.0.2 it still stays at the apple screen. It still connects to the computer, I can get into it, but it seems it will not load the springboard.
I have tried everything, and I mean everything. Including:
Restoring to 1.1.1 and 1.0.2
Virgin restoring to 1.1.1 and 1.0.2
Restoring, restoring and more restoring
Uploaded new Services.plist and Springboard files
iPhoneinterface with commands:
setenv auto-boot true
saveenv
fsboot
I have searched the forums and tried every possible idea.
Nothing works.
Something in the iPhone is corrupt and I dont know what it is.
If any of you Dev Team guys have an Idea, please let me know. I would love to fix this iPhone and give it back to the owner.

I have tried everything you mentioned in your post as well. The only way for me to get to activate itunes screen is to upgrade to 1.1.1. Is it possible to virginise from 1.1.1?
