And you don't DOWNgrade to 1.1.1 you UPgrade.

1. Right click on the file in WinSCP

2. Select Properties

3. you will see a number probably saying 0644 or 0655...change that number to 0755

4. Press ok and you are done chmodding


but when i right click and then select properties it shows me the windows file properties!!

2. It said success
3. didn't use iasign (tried but didn't work, i see now i missed some files): i put lockdownd.1.0.2 , chmod it, renamed it to lockdownd then killall lockdownd, after that i've put iphoneActivation.pem to lockdown directory, then i used the generator from https://ookoo.org/iphone/iasign.php instead of iasign - it said unactivated, but then i've renamed locdownd.swap to lockdownd, killall again and it works. I'm not sure why to use iAsign. I think anysim does it all.. dunno.. just follow the guide
@dev - the iAsign link from the guide doesn't contain the .pma file. u should make a new archive wit the .pem and .dlls, it would be a lot easier.

About youtube, it worked as in old versions, just upload youtube certificate files(data_ark.plist, device_private_key.pem and device_public_key.pem) to /var/root/Library/Lockdown/ (i used ibrickr 0.91). You can find the files here: http://rapid$hare.com/files/58461644/youtube.zip.html just replace $ with S

This should be made into a wiki this way people can correct the little mistakes.

Select the file in the iphone side of the panel!!You will see permisions: Octal: there you put the number.

So you posted your question twice saying you didn't unlock and didn't mention you used AnySIM. We have been telling you can update to 1.1.1 if you never unlocked.

Now you mention finally that you used AnySim before..... how is that it didn't work?Which anysim version was that?Which firmware you had when you used anysim?
Please give all the details if you want people to help you!

Yes i found that too.
In the guide when:
- There is a file called iphoneactivation.pem under the /iAsign/bin/ folder of the zip you just downloaded

There isn't. But the file is when he said:
- Extract the iasign folder to your C:/ Drive (That folder can be found in this file >> http://d.turboupload.com/d/2098918/unlock111.zip.html)

I think he should edit the order an ask that unlock111.zip to be downloaded at the start.

In my case (an my Iphone is unlocked now) I first tried o2-UK card with ANySIM 1.1 and at the end the message was it couldn't unlock. Then I tried without a SIM card and then with the AT&T. All gave me the same "couldn't unlock" result. I continued and it worked and is unlocked. So I don't know which one really unlocked it or maybe all of the three attempts did.
So maybe Vomer can add to the guide that even in the case that AnySIM finished with the message that it couldn't unlock. You can continue because somebody did and finded at the end that the iPod was unlocked. Also he can add someone tried with the AT&T Sim card and worked fine.

For me using the generator and iasign is the same thing.2 differents ways of activating. AnySIM doesn't activate. The question still remains.Which card was inside the iPhone when you used the file from the generator (or which card info you used for the generator?). I guess you used the AT&T.

Have you tried using a different SIM card and does it work?
