Default [Tutorial] <Ziphone ATT SIM working>

Ok I have been going nuts for days trying to get my Att sim (non iphone activation) to work. Every time I run ziphone I get a activated, jail broken phone with no signal strenght. I know I have seen a bunch of people posting this question with no answer. Well here is the answer.

The short answer is that ATT must be checking the sim cards to make sure they are truly iphone activated. You will have to unlock your phone.

    Run itunes, eject your phone
Run GUI ziphone 2.0 in Verbose, Activate, Jailbreak, Unlock

Also note that I had problems getting installer working (tired the bsd subsystem install). When I restored my old back up installed worked fine.

I would like to send out my thanks to NuKeZ for helping me, without his tricks and knowledge I would not have my phone working.

    PM me with any questions.
