TurboSIM and 1.1.1 all working here. I first did the iPhuc method, then later I deactivated and reactivated with iNdependence method. Everything is fine, except for YouTube. Can't get it running. I keep getting "You must first connect to iTunes with an internet connection to enable YouTube." Any clue on how to solve this?

    Hi there,

Im using firmware 1.0.2 with Turbo sim. In your post you say to upgrade first to 1.1.1 using iTunes then use independence to activate. This seems to indicate you would have to downgrade back to 1.0.2 and upgrade again to 1.1.1 using the independence method for it to work.

Any reason you can't skip the itunes upgrade step and just use independence and the 'pre 1.1.1 upgrade' step to get 1.1.1 then activate?

Also, anyone else been able to just leave the turbosim + private sim in the iPhone when using independence to upgrade to 1.1.1?

    Thanks,

    redbma

For those interested did not need to update to 1.1.1 via iTunes first to get working or do any sim card swapping back to ATT sim.

Using Tsim with 1.0.2 and private sim card just loaded independence 1.2.4, hit pre 1.1.1. upgrade button and followed instructions. iPhone now working perfectly in 1.1.1.

Thanks dev team and operator for the work.

Is this way in europe still possible for a USA 1.1.1 version iPhone out of the box? It should be, but in one step you need to make a firmwareupdate via iTunes (back to 1.1.1) and we`ve got 1.1.2 by now, which don`t work with a turbosim currently. Is it possible to update not via iTunes back to 1.1.1?

    regards

ps. anyway. I hope there`ll be a solution for 1.1.2 soon. Not for myselve - no need to update - but for everyone else...

Yep, download the 1.1.1-Firmware to your Mac and when it comes to Update hold the Option-key when clicking "Update" in iTunes and you will be presented with the file selection dialog.

I will have my testing iPhone back on Monday and give the 1.1.2-update a shot then. just dont wanna screw up my working 1.1.1 with Tsim right now ;-)

    Hi guys,
I have OOB1.1.2, jailbreak, turboSIM then the sh..t happens - I have installed EDGE for Germany. After this, the phone was dead. Reinstalled 1.1.1, jailbreak, 1.1.2 jailbreak - OK. But the turboSim was also programmed, now I can't do anything - it won't work.
How can I reactivate the turboSIM?
If anybody could give some hints, steps?
