[Tutorial] How to upgrade from 1.1.1 or 1.1.2 (BL 3.9) to Unlocked 1.1.3
This tutorial assumes you have some knowledge in upgrading your iphone.
1. Download the 1.1.3 restore file from iphone.unlock.no
2. backup iphone
3. turn off iphone, then press and hold home button while plugging it in. Itunes will say phone is in restore mode, now shift-restore button and find the 1.1.3 restore file. let it do its thing.
4. Now download ziphone and unzip.
5. unplug and turn off iphone (should say slide for emerg)
6. in cmd prompt, run ziphone -a -j
7. plug in iphone holding down home button, and let ziphone do its thing.
8. Should now be jailbroken and activated. connect to wifi, run installer
9. install bsd 2., and connect to iclarified source, (installer.iclarified.com) i believe.
10. install anysim 1.3
11. put autolock to never, and airplane mode on.
12. Run anysim, follow directions.
13. Now, unlocked 1.1.3 iphone with all features working.
Thanks to all who testing on irc, and Skippy911.

lol why do you need to unlock it twice? you unlocked it on step 8 so why do it again on step 12?

He meant jailbroken and activated.
PS: NO need to install anysim 1.3 since ziphone does it automatically.

Ok what i did is exactly this:
Took my iphone 1.1.1 unlocked using anysim 1.1 and hooked the dock cable. I let itunes restore my iphone to the 1.1.3 firmware. The iphone then rebooted and i was stuck at the activation screen.
I then unplugged the iphone from itunes. Went to task manager and turned off ituneshelper.exe so that way itunes wouldnt try to autorun when I plug in my iphone.
Next I opened command prompt by going to start > run > cmd
In here I went to the directory with ziphone. cd c:\ziphone
Now I ran: ziphone -j -a (i think it may have been -a -j I cant remember)
Once this started I held down the home button and plugged the iphone into the dock cable.
Ziphone recognized the iphone and did its thing. When it said done I unplugged the iphone.
Now I was back on the screen but instead of slide to activate it just said unlock.
I then rebooted the iphone by holding the top button and slide to power off. THen pressed the top button again.
Once rebooted I setup my wifi and then went into installer and installed bsd 2.1 under the systems category.
I went into settings and set autolock to never and turned on airplane mode.
Now I clicked on anysim 1.3 and let it do its thing. When it was done turned airplane mode off and it all works.
Tried a call in, call out, voicemail, safari, youtube, google locate, multiple sms works too.
Hope that helps!

So the trick is here not to update 1.1.1 or 1.1.2 (BL 3.9) iphone via itunes to 1.1.3 ? Just download the firmware to desktop and shift + restore to 1.1.3... the sequence must be like this or otherwise let the itunes update the phone itself ? Confusing

1.1.1 (BL 3.9) must be shift + Restore or just hit UPDATE button ?????
either... shift + restore will be faster if you already have to firmware downloaded... i prefer restore over update to have a fresh start...
