Prior to running ziphone I restored my 1.1.1to 1.1.3 through itunes. Ive tried it several times. I restore then follow the tutorial but nothing so what could I be doing wrong. I thought it might be the version of itunes im running (7.4.1.2), but I just unlocked a 1.1.3 otb w/bl 4.6 so it cant be that. Any suggestions?
power off iphone (slide to power off) run ziphone commands, hold home button and dock iphone...

Ok, I guess I'm gonna give it a shot! I'm on 1.1.1, 3.9 BL, anySIM 1.1.1. But first want to clarify a couple things:
    a) what iTunes version successful 3.9 bl unlockers used
    b) jsalva, why are you looking for the address book folder, can't you just sync your contacts? Problems with syncing ziphoned 3.9 bl 1.1.3's??
    b) any problems SSHing into your phone and browsing files? Saw a couple of reports in the ziphone sticky. I need this to tweak AppSupport and also get rid of the annoying "call forwarding active" pop-up like I did for 1.1.1
    c) saw reports of people losing springboard scrolling (white dots) after 1.1.3? I'm not going to install Summerboard (too buggy for my liking), but would like to have the scrolling feature....
    d) any "No Service" or post-reboot signal issues?
    e) Please reconfirm Edge, Mail, YouTube, Google Locate work fine!
    Thanks!

Has anyone upgraded instead of 'restore' from 1.1.1 to 1.1.3 ? I want to keep all the data ( esp SMS messages ) and was wondering if the upgrade path will cause some problems with ZiPhone 2.0

    Hello,

I am having trouble updating/restoring to 1.1.3 having the following error message in itunes (1603)!

    This is my config:

    Macosx 10.5.2 (intel mac)
    Itunes 7.5
    Firmware 1.1.2
    BL 3.9 (Hardware downgrade)
    Baseband 04.02.13_G

Anyone an idea how to solve this?

If I , somehow manage to upgrade in 1.1.3, will the baseband also be updated, or ist dependent whether I use upgrade or restore? Or do I have to manually upgrade it?

    Thank you

Use restore to 1.1.3 firmware...clean start...will wipe out everything...

    here are the files...:

    Windows GUI

    ZiPhone 2.0 GUI

    From Developer site:
    http://zibree.blogspot.com/
    ZiPhone v2.0 is finally OUT.
In the command line version, you will find a new
option "-b" be very careful with that!
I take no responsability if you brick your phone!
ZiPhone -b will downgrade bootloader from 4.6 to 3.9,
    flash 4.03.13_G baseband version and
    unlock it (in one shot!).
    Download:
    Code:
    http://rapid$hare.com/files/91569663/V_ZiPhone2.0.zip
Looks like this is the final one...hopefully

    ----------------------------------------

    MAC GUI

    From MMI:

This jailbreaks any iphone with 1.1.3 firmware. It will unlock and activate 1.1.3 iphones with the 4.6 bootloader (1.1.2 and 1.1.3 OTB iphones). Very easy, one-click solution - couldn't be easier!

This works on Apple OS X (Intel + PPC).
    Download Now:
    Code:
    http://rapid$share.com/files/91613229/V_ZiPhone_mmi.zip
    Enjoy!

    =>SOLVED<=

I updated itunes to 7.6, and could manage to pass to 1.1.3 via alt+restore from 1.1.2.
Then I executed ./Ziphone in the terminal with -v -j -a -u . (ziphone 2.0, windows package, it includes the OSX as well)

Now I am on the latest baseband, latest firmware with BL 3.9, and fully unlocked!

Hey guys, some complain their 3.9 bl ex-111's turned to real battery hogs on 1.1.3for no apparent reason... Are your batteries doing all right?
