Help with AppTapp Installer

Just need a hand with this...
Ive followed all the instructions, and now when I put my Orange sim in, it says new sim detected, connect to iTunes, so I do so, and it says that there is no carrier for this sim. Any ideas?

may be yours baseband need to reprogram
restore to newer version than downgrade to 1.1.1
and follow instrustions

could u help me too? i did everything but i can't upgrade to 1.1.2 cause it says that i dont have oktprep . but i tried just with 1.1.2/1.1.3 otb unlock with and without oktoprep , but i stuck there . any help plz?

Great tutorial! Yours are truly the best (but of course, thanks to all the dev guys for their great work!)

I just have a query about the status of 1.1.3. Once this tutorial has been followed can we update to 1.1.3 (as said at the end of this tutorial) and still have our iPhone unlocked? Or will it just be jailbroken, NOT unlocked?
I have a OTB 1.1.2 current on a Jailbroken and Unlocked 1.1.2 (thanks to this guide

) and another 1.1.1 Jailbroken and Unlocked iPhone with the old bootloader. I would love to upgrade to 1.1.3 but not if it means having to sacrifice my phone services (as I am in the UK and have T-Mobile Sim Card).

Also, I installed iWorld to but there is no "England" or "United Kingdom" setting. Anyone know why that is? My Sim card is from UK so would is that last step (About iWorld) not required?

Does anyone know for sure whether 1.1.3 can be used with other Sim cards (aka unlocked)? Obviously if its a 50/50 thing i'd rather not but if its confirmed i'd like to know!

As to your problem, I'm not too sure to be honest. I remember reading about that oktoprep before this was released, but I kinda messed up my iPhone when trying to do this method (without reading THIS tutorial, and following other peoples guides) so having messed it up, I just started from scratch.

So my advice, since you initially tried with oktoprep, put your iPhone into DFU mode and restore with 1.1.1 firmware. Once it's done just continue the guide from that stage (aka jailbreaking 1.1.1 and onwards). Thats just my advice but i'm no pro at this so you may want to clarify just in case (though I can't see it doing any EXTRA damage to be honest).

i.unlock.no's 1.1.2/1.1.3 unlock automatically runs oktoprep for you at the end...

I downgraded to 111, now I am on the screen with USB icon and ITUNES icon on my IPhone screen...I run Apptapp Installer, (by the way, there are only three version none of them is 111 version, is that ok to use one of them?). and it says downloading 93 mb....is that normal?? it is taking forever to download and it gives a message TIMES OUT.
help please
