I've checked it and it seems to be for 1.1.3 probably based on an older tutorial.

i agree - all the steps seem to be there. Not sure why it's considered "old"

Well, I followed all the steps and while the iphone isn't saying there is a bad sim anymore, it isn't connecting to tmobile, and I get an error when I try to reset my network settings.

I've tried it like one month ago and didn't work, the bad imei is still there, even after virginizer.. no way, if you upgraded to 113 it seems your imei has been modified and will work just with firmware 113 or above
Because the people who are crazy enough to think
they can change the world, are the ones who do.

so does that mean that this cant be sim unlocked anymore?

Can you please edit this part cause it's WRONG. Yes, it's working but it's not the correct way.
Correct is to install Baseband Downgrader. I don't understand why people kepp using "The virginizer" to downgrade baseband, when there's even a seperate package called "Baseband downgrade" created just for that purpose!!!
Baseband downgrade package takes only 3 minutes.
