The IMEI changes after you install 1.1.1. It is how Apples tells that you had an unlocked iPhone.

my little sister update her unlocked iPhone yesterday by mistake.
Her device now reports IMEI 004999010640000 which is different then the one on the box.
More then that, I know of two other users with the same IMEI number reported,
so it must be Apple's way to know if your iPhone was unlocked before the update.

Maybe I'm wrong but I have a thought:
Both AnySim and IPSF have a bug that changes something in the nvram of the baseband. When that nvram get corrupted the imei is changed to 004999...
I heard of a guy that unlocked his phone then after a few days the phone said incorrect sim and the imei changed (he didn't do anything else).

I said it from the beginning: the actual unlocking methotds are rude and dangerous. The *ONLY* correct way to unlock a phone is to find the NCK and feed it to the phone.

I successfully found (a few weeks ago) a method for getting NCK from any qualcomm based device (3g broadband cards, a few phones, etc).

I hopefully will receive my phone in a few hours.
I hereby ask the devteam to contact me privately to solve this problem together.

If Apple change my IMEI, I will ask them to send me a new scripted matching back.
