Default Time for IPSF To Give Back To The Community

Im hoping that one of the guys over at iPhone Sim Free reads this thread because its about time you gave back to the community.

You guys are making a healthy profit that wouldn't be possible to make if it wasnt for the Dev Team. They are the ones that figured out how to jailbreak and activate the new firmware. I know you guys feel the same way as you even stated on your website that you are grateful for the work the Dev team has done.

If you are really thankful, prove it!! What do i mean??

You guys have developed an app that will fix all damage done by free unlocking solutions, why can you not release your SimFree.app and call it SimFix or something that does the extact same thing as the unlocking one accept it doesnt do the unlocking part??

That way your helping out the people who helped you out. Its onlt fair!! I am an admirer of IPSF, you guys have developed a truly great app that does the bueiness but that app would be useless if not for the dev team, do something they would appreciate as payment for the work they have done for you!!

They earn their money with this app. Why should they offer it for free?

Don't get me wrong here. I'm all for open source, community and all, but as a company - it would be a bad move for them.

Actually from a business perspective it would be a good move on their part.

They wouldn't be giving away their core product - which is unlocking.

Also, by giving back a usefull thing like undoing the mods of the free unlock they generate a bunch of goodwill, and really don't lose anything, as a user of the app they give away could still choose to pay them for their unlock.

Very true statement then all these guys making money on ebay with the free app can continue to just profit off of 1.1.1. In todays world its sad to say but you gotta look out for #1. Cant really blame IPSF for not wanting to share.
