    Default "There is no carrier that supports the installed SIM Card in the Iphone"

    I buy a used 4Gb iPhone, there was installed AT&T sim card and the phone has been in use. There is 1.1.1 firmware inside.

    I unlock the phone with anysim and it works great. But when i connect the phone on itunes i get error: There is no carrier that supports the installed SIM Card in the Iphone

    iTunes version is 7.5 and i try also pc/mac version 7.4.1 and 7.4.2

    If i try to connect iTunes with AT&T sim it says that the sim card number is not valid..

    Any idea what i can do now? Or is this phone dead.. i can call but i can't copy a music on it.

    I could be completely wrong on this, but I believe that you need to edit the Operator.plist on the phone and modify one of the supported carriers by overwriting MCC-MNC of the supported carrier with the MCC-MNC of your carrier. You can find the MCC-MNC in the field test app.

    i try to edit carrierMap.plist, and add my ISP code there, it looks now like this:

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple Computer//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">
    <plist version="1.0">
    <dict>
    <key>24421</key>
    <string>ATT_US.plist</string>

    </dict>
    </plist>

    but it not work..
