Yeah, interesting on the pole for opensource.
I haven't voted yet but the more I think, I prefer it to be opensource. Not everyone here can code at the level of DEV Team, majority are just regular users just running the program.
People worry about bad coding, and various versions flying around. It is not like that at all. Opensource allows coders to look at the code, make suggestions, make improvements and etc ...
Any changes in the code must be uploaded to a repository and reviewed and approved by the TEAM leader(s). People must understand how opensource works and respect it.
Think of Linux. It will not be where it is today without it. With that said, any changes to the kernel must be approved by Linus.
