Is there foolproof way to fully refurbish a 4.6 BL iPhone?
Hi,
I have more or less know the steps to refurbish an iPhone.
But just to make sure I am on the correct track, so as to have a smooth exchange of the phone at the Apple store, I would like to double confirm this with you guys here.
What I have here is a 16 gig week 11 OTB 1.1.4 iPhone. The power button went busted after the phone was unlocked for 10 mins. It was at 3.9FB BL and 04.04 BB at that time. The stock screen protector is still on.
At then state, 3.9BL and 04.04 BB, I had take the following steps:-
(Please advice if I had did it wrongly.)
1) Erase BB
2) Upgrade to 4.6 BL
3) Restore to 1.1.4
Will this more or less refurbish the phone fully?
Or should I take the more conservative approach.
1) Erase BB
2) Restore to 1.1.3 (Check that 04.03 BB had been restored by doing a fieldtest)
3) Upgrade to 4.6 BL
4) Restore to 1.1.4
Please advice.
Thanks.

nope buddy, once ya zipped ya 1.1.3/4 otb.
ya can't refurbish it to the original state ATM, as ZiPhone downgrade ya BL to stock 3.9.
