My iphone is now unlocked, I placed my T-Mobile card in..works great! One problem..I see my EDGE icon at top..but I can't get online using EDGE. When using my previous T-Mobile phone (PEARL) it worked. Bu on my iphone it shows the icon but nothing?? Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks guys!

HI,
When you out in your SIM, you have to manually input your edge settings, go to Settings - General - Network - Edge - APN will be internet2.voicestream.com and username and password blank

I just tried that..nothing? So in the username & PW area just leave blank??

What internet plan do you have with tmobile?

Also, yes leave it blank

Unlimited Internet w/ E-mail BLACKBERRY EDGE

go to the apn section

put this:

wap.voicestream.com
username:
password:


dont put anything in for username and password

it will work just fine.

youre on the Blackberry Unlimited BIS Plan right? 1000 min? etc?

try wap.voicestream.com, this works for me.

you need to take the blackberry service off your plan. add the $5.99 internet plan.

then in your apn settings put down, wap.voicestream.com

with the user and pass blank.

same thing happened to me with my 1st iphone.

you could even try the tmobile total internet add on thingy. its 19.99 a month with free hotspot service. that one works for sure. if you get that then change ur apn to internet2.voicestream.com

You may also need to configure proxy settings (I do on the $5.99 plan, as described here:
