At&t customer want to use iphone without new contract and unlocking?
If I have 1.0.2.1 firmware on out of box iphone,
can I use normal at&t simcard, which current has $49.99 plan, after I run
apptinstaller and paycay?
Or do I still need to run anysim application?
I only need iphone to work with my current at&t sim card..

yes, you can. You will need to activate with something like iNdependence (Mac) or iBrickr to get past the new account requirement.
However, a couple of caveats:
1: if you don't have a data plan, find in this forum the directions to turn off EDGE or you are going to be in for a shock when the bill comes with all of the data charges
2: you're putting yourself in the situation where applying software updates will causes issues. At this point, you can't activate or use the phone with the 1.1.1 update (as far as I can tell)
This is exactly what I'm doing with the SIMthat used to be in my Blackberry on ATT, which comes with a data plan and all is well.
good luck!
