AT&T seems to be clamping down. I tried to buy 4 today and they refused to sell it to me. They remembered me from last week and checked their system and noted that the 5 i bought last week had not been activated. I was told to activate at least one of them before coming back for more. Ouch!! All other stores around me carry week 39+ phones!! Anyone run into problems at their AT&T store?

All Apple stores i know of are carrying week 39+ phones.....

They obviously are aware of how many phones they are selling, compared to how many are being activated.

I was able to buy quite a few phones but late last week they implemented a 5 per person policy...

I will pickup some hobos from Downtown tomorrow and pay them $20 each to score some phones for me! Take that AT&T!!

we are customers trying to buy their product and they want to shut us down, APPLE made a HUGE mistake going together with ATT. Im from europe and think how many people would have bought their phones if they sold them free of any carrier. they would sell millions and millions, and when the next generation came out they would sell millions of those too! i dont get it, freakin retarded move by apple

As matter of fact, I do. I was planning on buying a new Macbook two weeks ago but went for an HP instead. OS X rocks, but Apple hardware hasn't been what it used to be lately anyway.

Did it come with Vista or XP? And if it did come with Vista, did you you upgrade to XP?

I will be buying an iMac shortly, I have no choice but to buy an Apple iMac, as no one else makes them. And I won't buy anything else either.
