Success Stories of Anysim 1.1 & Guide
As its seems from the news latelly that IPSF might be bricked after a bootloader update that will surelly be coming in the future. Anysim 1.1 is the choice of unlock if you want the chance to keep updating your phone with apple updates. Here is a brief guide to applying the unlock for 1.1.1 virgin phones or 1.0.2 virgin phones
Tools needed all for windows:
Itunes 22.214.171.124 - http://filehippo.com/download/4d2c4e...0d5a8/download
1.0.2 Iphone firmware file - http://appldnld.apple.com.edgesuite....8_Restore.ipsw
Ibricker 0.91 - http://ibrickr.com/downloads/ibrickr_v0.91.zip
apptap installer - http://www.nullriver.com/~adam/AppTappInstaller.exe
PACAY latest - http://126.96.36.199/files/55289251...suco_.rar.html
1. Get the 1.1.1 phone back to 1.0.2 by downgrading the phone. This can be done in two ways.
A. Use the 10 sec method.
Make Sure iphone is off. Open itunes (Ver 188.8.131.52)
plug your phone into your PC, and as soon as the gray apple appears, press and hold both power and home buttons. Hold for exactly 10 seconds, then let go of just the power button.(If you look very closely, after about 7 seconds the screen will power down and pixelate, this is the lead in to the hidden restore state.) After about another 15 Seconds of holding down the Home button, itunes will find your iphone and say it needs to restore.
Shift - Restore and select the 1.0.2 Firmware. When it completes it will give you "1013" error message, press ok, and do not restore again... Just close itunes.
***From this point on you may have to run apptapp several times, depending on your PC***
Open apptapp, select 1.0.2, and press ok. AppTapp should go thru the whole process, and may give you an error. Close AppTapp and open it again. Run AppTapp again on 1.0.2, and it should complete without an error.
***If at this step you do not see the "Waiting for Activation" screen, you will have an extra step. if you dont skip below the star.
*)If you have a Yellow Triangle still, you wil need to go into the folder you unzipped ibrickr. There is a icon that says iphoneinterface.exe. Double click, and you will get a prompt you can type from. Type "setenv auto-boot true" then hit enter. Then type "saveenv" then hit enter again. Last type "fsboot" and hit enter again. Close the command window, and after about 5 seconds you will see the Activation screen on your iphone, you may have to turn off and back on.
Open Itunes, let it "see" the iphone, close itunes, then Run AppTapp one last time.
B.You can also downgrade a 1.1.1 phone using ibricker
You will get a message from iBrickr saying: "Looks like you're running iPhone firmware 1.1.1. ....."
CLICK on "See how deep the rabbit hole goes"
Your iPhone screen will turn white
In iTunes, press SHIFT and click on RESTORE
Select the file that iBrickr just downloaded called 1.02 IPSW and click OPEN
... Let iTunes do the downgrade (it takes about 5 minutes)
Most likely you will get error 1013 at the end... just ignore and go back to iBrickr
Select "I have a yellow triangle" and then click on "fix it"
Jailbreak with apptap installer
2. After completing the downgrade (if still at the yellow triangle run apptap again)
You will need to jailbreak if not done already using apptap installer
3. Run PACAY on your jailbroken phone to activate the phone. Then Set iPhone's Autolock to NEVER.
4. Use ibricker to copy anySIM-1.1.pxl to the iphone and turn off
5. Put the sim you want to use into the iphone turn on and run the anysim 1.1 app
6. use ibricker to remove the anysim app from the phone.
7. Extra steps fix caller id bug follow this link
8. change number format (search forum)
9. Set voicemail button
Go to the phone app and enter this sequence of numbers and call it:
*5005*86*xxx# then press CALL
(where xxx is the number you dial to get to your voicemail. On iSim (Optus), it's 321, so I typed *5005*86*321# then pressed CALL).
10. you are done give the phone a quick off on to set all the changes
Note: If you wish to update to 1.1.1 after this you can but you will have to jailbreak and activate again (search for More Info)
Please Write Your good and bad experiences with using anysim 1.1 to help other wishing to unlock.

thanks dtube I changed it
did you have to chmod or use ssh?
other guides people have needed to.
I did exactly as your described steps EXCEPT I was not using the anySIM-1.1.pxl (did not find it before) therefore I had to ssh and chmod 755 anySIM . I would assume that you don't have to ssh/chmod since the pxl is here now.
I just wish there's an ibrickr that would work with native 1.1.1 - I love that program.
Come to think of it, should you add step 11 to warn people not to update to 1.1.1 and if they do, they would have to jailbreak and reactivate which is not cover here.
Some people just do not pay attention
