I have both openSSH and BSD installed and still get a connection error when trying to WinSCP into the phone. I cant even ping it. The phone gets assined an IP on a different subnet 192.168.0.X while my home network is on 192.168.1.X
How do you get it to connect to the right subnet?
on your iphone.
settings - wifi
you see your wireless network SSID and the blue arrow on the right. click on that.
on the next screen, the first tab is DHCP, 2nd tab is BootP, third is static.
Select the Static tab
You can manually put in a static address such as 192.168.1.50 -
to make sure you can communicate, on your PC, click start, run, type in cmd to get a command prompt. Type in:
You will see your PC's ip address, mask and gateway. Just make sure you have the same thing on your iphone but with different static IP of course.
