Same thing with me and I've tried everyting.

Still stuck on Recovery Mode and only iTunes 7.7 is able to recognized it, so I can't go back to an older versions and try ZiPhone, Liberty+, etc - they do not work because the connection drivers have changed.

    Does anyone have a workaround?

    Do a restore to 1.1.4

The iLiberty+ not recognising the phone is a driver problem. USB and iTunes. Happens mostly on windows machine.

U can either try a different computer so that a fresh copy of drivers for iPhone recovery mode is loaded and use iLiberty+ to Jump Out of Recovery Mode or do a restore to 1.1.4.

Or restore and use pwnage tools.

That doesn't work because the restore always fails with an 'unknown error 6'
Trying to restore to 2.0 or 1.1.4 (this one even fails quicker and with an error 20)

Liberty+ doesn't detect that the phone is connected. Ony iTunes 7.7 is able to see it :/

    I follow here http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=1504

to step 5, close itune, using iLiberty+ to enter DFU mode, then itune will be auto bring up, then follow the guide.

Ok, I tried the all the steps except doing in other pc, in a minutes Ill do that, but whne I use the restores step in my pc always do the error 20, thats is because im in recovery mode, and I need to change to DFU mode, but I can do that becuase just itunes recognize the iphone, thats why I need to know a different way

I have a similar problem i have a phone that refuses to enter dfu mode. I've successfully managed it with 2 other phones but it just won't work with this particular phone, I've even tried ziphone and iliberty+ but for some reason they put the phone into recovery mode rather than dfu. Any ideas?

maybe you need to turn it off 1st. home+power for 10 seconds, and release. If you connect to iLiberty, you can see the mode is disconnect, then release.

Wait a while, turn it on, you can see it in recovery mode, but this time should be able to use iLiberty+ to enter DFU directly.
