Cool Stuck on Safari Screen while activating iPhone (v 1.1.1 Firmware 04.01.13_G)

    Hi there,

I bought an unlocked iPhone (v 1.1.1). It was perfectly functioning till yesterday I accidentally did upgrate to v 1.1.2. (via iTunes) Stupid I was!!

After that I have tried to recovery it back. Now I got here, Version 1.1.1 (Firmware 04.01.13_G). But I could not activate my iPhone via jailbreakme.com. I have correctly set Wi-Fi (prefs:). Everytime I launch Safari (http://jailbreakme.com) I was waiting to get back to the "Activation Screen", but it was stucked there in screen Safari (jailbreakme.com) Over 30 mins!! Is there anything wrong?

Please anyone help me. What should I do? Many Thanks!!

Were you able to surf to another website such as Google or Apple? If you didn't try that, then you should try surfing to another site and then try to surf to jailbreakme. If it still doesn't work, try flashing your phone again with the 1.1.1 firmware.

I had a problem where the flash would appear to go alright and then when I tried the jailbreak, it would kick out of Safari and then stay at the Activation screen, but not reboot. While this problem is a little different from what you're experiencing, I believe that the problem still as a bad or otherwise incomplete flash.

I would also recommend that your take your SIM card out and replace it with the original AT&T SIM before proceeding with the downgrade. I found this to be more reliable in terms of getting the process of unlocking the phone to work smoothly.

    Good luck.
