Stuck in Please connect to iTunes mode
I had downgraded 1st time successfully except the OpenSSH was giving me a headache. Anytime I hit a spacebar, it will close my session. I tried unstailing and failed. So, I figured, what the hey, I will reflash with 1.0.2 and start again. Well, so much for that idea. iTunes fails to reflash with error 1603 or 1604. AppTap sits forever and restarting phone in Normal node. But nothing succeeds.
I just got the yellow triangle saying please connect to iTunes. Can anyone help?

I got into this state at some point while downgrading my phone...
I'm not sure *exactly* what I did, but I think it was something like this:
1) Ran iNDependence a couple times to attempt jailbreaking and/or activation
2) Rebooted the phone few times
Eventually, I got it back to the un-downgraded, normal 1.1.1 state. From there, I had to start over completely with the downgrading process.
If the downgrade process is working, you won't get the "Please connect to iTunes" mode. (Well, at least I didn't during the attempt where it actually worked)

Thanks. Is there a Windows version of iNdependence? I tried apptap to no end. Same with iTunes.

I can't believe I got out of that that mess. I had to reboot my PC twice (as well as the iPhone). I am starting all over again.
