Strange SIM state after anySIM 1.1 on OTB 1.0.2 iphone
Just went through the activate/jailbreak/unlock process with independence 1.2.3 and anysim 1.1 successfully.
I then installed minicom as I am curious to see the output of the command AT+XIMSTATE=1
Surprisingly, I got the following result:
+XSIM: 1
+XLOCK:
Never seen that before. Anyone know that means?

Is that all you got? the results should be a longer line e.g.
+XSIM: 2
+XLOCK: "PN",1,0,"PU",5,0,"PP",5,0,"PC",5,0,"PS",5,0
I have no idea what +XSIM: 1 means....
refer to below:
+XSIM: SS
+XLOCK: "PN",X1,X2,"PU",X1,X2,"PP",X1,X2,"PC",X1,X2,"P S",X 1,X2(the only lock present is the PN lock)
SS:
0=No SIM Inserted
2=SIM Ready
6=SIM Busy
X1:
0=Unlockable(i assume without attempt counter)
1=Unlockable
2=Unknown(i have never seen this)
3=Attempt Limit Reached
4=Unlocked and Lockable
5=Unlocked
X2:
0=SIM Valid
1=Unknown(this gets set for PN when unlock is attempted)
4=SIM Not Valid
These values weren't found in any manual, and were all determined either empirically or by reversing the firmware.

What I posted was exactly what I saw in the screen, ie "+XSIM: 1" and nothing after "+XLOCK:". That's why I called it "strange"! I was expecting the output like what you listed.
I even tried pull the SIM card out and put it back in while minicom is still running. It poppeds the message "+SIM: 0" when I popped the SIM card out and "+XSIM: 1" when I pushed the SIM card back in.

Reason: add extra messages

Is your unlocked 1.0.2 working fine?

I followed independence's instruction to upgrade it to 1.1.1 then do the activation/jailbreak before running anysim 1.1. So it is unlocked and running 1.1.1. I can make/receive calls and send/receive sms.

Ok, got it: It is the SIM PIN causing this state. Deactivate the PIN and read the XSIMSTATE again. The output will be fine.
