Default Steps to take when "No service" after AnySIM?

    1.1.1 iPhone

    Used touchfree alpha to jailbreak.
    Jailbreak successfull

    Used WinSPC for AnySIM
    Unlock successful

Did activation (Lockdown file) and youtube fix

I put a T-Mobile sim, and no service detected (I just see 0 bars, blank)
I tried with another Sim (Digitel) and same --no service or detection of sim.

So I did a restore with "iPod1,1_1.1_3A101a_Restore.zip" file that I downloaded a couple weeks ago.

    Restore successful

This time used TIFF/jailbreakme method for jailbreak

Succeeded, however, same problem with no service

*note, I did not re-run anysim as from what I understand it 'survives' a restore*

When rebooted, I get this message:

"Waiting for activation, This may take some time"

    Can anyone help?

    thanks!

Can you restore your phone back to 1.1.1 via itunes and use CARNAVAL 0.7 to jailbreak & activate.

    You need the restore file:
    - iPhone1,1_1.1.1_3A109a_Restore.ipsw
    not
    - iPod1,1_1.1_3A101a_Restore.zip

    Try downloading here and restoring:
    http://appldnld.apple.com.edgesuite....a_Restore.ipsw

    opps.
Actually I meant to say iPhone1,1_1.1.1_3A109a_Restore.ipsw ...not the ipod fw.

The ipod was in the desktop and mistakenly copy+pasted name here without taking notice.

I did actually restore with iphone fw --I even redid it just now to make sure..

Also, another problem --after restore... I attempt to jailbreak using jailbreakme "appsnap"

I visit the url in safari --goes back to "Activate" screen like normal --but never freezes

I wait.. wait.. and wait but nothing --and after I reboot, I'm still in jail
