As many of us would like to know how "dangerous" it is to buy an iPhone these days (1.1.3 and all), here's a poll to help us decide whether to buy it or not if the Apple employee lets us look at the box before we purchase the phone.

Everyone who has bought a phone recently, please vote for the week number on the serial (XXXABXXX...XXX where AB is the week number) and the associated version. Did you get 1.1.2, or 1.1.3?

I do not know yet the serial format of phones newer than week 52 (will it be XX801XXX...XXX, or maybe XX753XXX...XXX ?), so I've created categories for ">Week 52". If anybody has those phones, please post and I will update the categories.

This way, we can all shop safely and hopefully save our $400+ bucks... or better yet, be happy spending on something we can actually use

I just bought a week 47 yesterday. I haven't opened the box yet, so I don't know the version, but I can't imagine it's anything other than 1.1.2 4.6 as NIB.

Since this might change in any moment, like in the past when newly bought old weeks started to have the new firmware, such a poll only leads to false safety imho, since the situation might change at any moment, but the more people vote, the lesser the change would show through the moment a change appears.

You only get rid of the adrenaline rush while buying, without getting rid of the risk, so you miss all the good parts of it with this poll
