Springboard glitches when checking modem version on a 1.1.2 OOTB.

Till now i only have watched this forum in hope that 1.1.2 otb solution will pop up, but something strange happen and i was wonder if anybody else had something similiar.
Today i wanted to jailbrake my 1.1.2 otb, but just to be sure i wanted to check up my modem version, so i turned on iphone, slide to unlock, and after that i accidently move over my fingers over number pad, and for the 1-2sec i was able to see springboard? What is with that?

That happens to all (most) iphones, when you check the version first time. You are not able to use it, nothing new.

Everytime there's a thread titled "something weird happened", "has this ever happened to anyone else before?" etc etc, I'm always immensely dissappointed
