Hi,
I upgraded AnySim 1.1.1 unlocked 1.0.2 to 1.1.1 with the help of independence.

As I did'nt know a way to get Installer App on my phone I manually installed summerboard, and then finally Installer as well.

Recently i used Erica's Make It Mine (MIM) app to play around with the Carrier logo, after which Spingboard started crashing my apps (relaunchin by itself)

I have since then un installed MIM, but the crashes continue, can I now restore the phone via iTunes and still stay unlocked at 1.1.1 or do i need to go from 1.0.2 to 1.1.1 again?


Any help on this matter is much appreciated.

1. Instal the source: i.unlock.no
2. go to "Unlocking Tools"
3. install + start: BB Downgrader 1.1.2

After that you have 1.1.1 + 3.0...

4. Install 1.1.1

But after that you have to jailbreak, Anysim again.

I have the same problem, my iphone is crashing, I thing the problem is "SummerBoard", looks like if i using the default theme - the iphone is fine.

NO, just restore in itunes 1.1.1, your phone will stay unlocked, dont listen to him

Y need bring your iphone to Recovery mode (or conect directly to ITunes) -> Restore manual (Shift + Restore Button in Itunes) => Choose fw 1.1.1 to restore your phone (manual download at http://i.unlock.no) . After 10-15 mins, iP return to Activation Screen -> Jailbreak via add link http://jailbreakme.com => You have iPHone unlocked with fw 1.1.1
@Devinfrerno: SpringBorad crashed cause you use old version SummerBoard and Dim Wallpaper mode turn on (recommend update SM 3.01b3 and turn off Dim Wallpaper mode to fix it) , don't restore iPhone if u still have this prob

READ BEFORE DOING ANYTHING. It may not be necessary to mess with baseband. I think your problem here is the summerboard, i had that problem too, so I restored and didnt installed it again.

First, check baseband is not corrupted, check IMEI for 0049xxx, think you have done this but if not: http://iphone.unlock.no/#how-to-down...inize-baseband
But I think you must have already done that.

Then (or if no virginizing is needed) just restore with 1.1.1. (importante: search for restore manually thread!! recomended to select manually the 1.1.1 file for restoring) dont sync!
After restore, CANT BE EASYER than jailbreaking with AppSnapp process (http://jailbreakme.com), you dont even need a computer (but a wifi).

Not sure if virginizing removes unlock but if necessary, unlock with anysim look for it in installer (AppSnapp instals it for u).

Done.

The best part here is you will have installer there so you wont need to manually install your apps. I have tryed this method and I have a a very stable iPhone.

And my recomendation here is: dont install and uninstall apps as if it was your computer... unlocked iPhones (and locked ones also... Apple must resolve some issues) are not that install/uninstall enduring.

Now you can sync but, I recommend not to use the backup copy from your previous sync. I did it once when having your problem and the problem persisted. So just make a new "profile"when first sync with everything new. U will loose your contacts if you dont use entourage or yahoo.

I agree with angelhell, it has something to do with wallpaper dimming.

2.Restore 1.1.1 and activate using independence (jailbreakme does'nt work for me)
or else

will do the whole thing over.

I've been doing a hell lot of more things on the phone thru out the day today,imfact this reply itself is from the phone.

umm hey this thread kinda titles whts going on with my phone

ok my phone is 1.1.1 jailbroken by jailbreakme.com and unlocked with AnySim

ill be using an app on my phone (right nows its just been installer and safari) and the app will just shutdown... when i go back to it itll come up and shut back down a few seconds later.. once that happens a few times the springboard just locks up
when i reboot everything works for awhile (like an hour or 2) then it starts over again
ive restored and the problem still persists

Ok when restoring and connecting to itunes DO NOT tell it its your "old" iphone. You should tell it its a new one in order to avoid installing the backup. You will loose your info (if you dont sync with oulook) but i think this may work for u. Post results.

i did that when i installed 1.1.2 and jailbroke it still has the same problems and now some of my songs are currupted because itunes didnt fix them.. it even does this when i sync vids to it.....

one thing i noticed is it works flawlessly if i happen to has the 1.0.2FW but im not gonna go back to that anymore
