Smile [Solution] Stuck at activation screen (when slider doesn't work)

alrite, i finally did it. I got everything back after working with a completely dead iphone with stuck at activation screen. Been working with ibick, ziphone (all version), iPlus, Lib+, and Pwn by Dev Team(great guyz), Finally i used Ibooter. Here is the deal, if you face a problem where you completely stuck at activation screen and doesn't matter what filmware you are in trying restore (restore mode or DFU doesn't work). Some may find the solution where they need to Erase their baseband to get their slider back (sound like you? read on ). Someone get an error saying "AppleMLV868x unable to read filmware or load filmware>>> go on).
Today some how i fix it get my bb back and everything back. First download "ibooter"hxxp://www.iphonelinux.org/index.php/Main_Page from this website and Boot your iphone into Recovery mode (remember recovery mode Where your iphone display a cable and a disk). You may need to read some of the instruction on site in order to get the ibooter to run. For example, i need to install lib usb (i'm using xp pro). If you can get it to work read on Type this command in your window
setenv wifiaddr "xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx" (<<<where you put ur Ip address i put mine at 192.168.0.1) <basic
    printenv wifiaddr
    saveenv
    fsboot

    After That type fsboot.
Your iphone should restart and your slider is back click on ! icon you'll see your imei is back and slider is working again. Well, this is some history about my iphone, at i mention above i have been using all the tool and finally end up using ibooter which helped me solve the problem. My iphone is back to normal now. So just post any question here i'll try the best i can to answer your question.

the problem is everytime i put the MAC address in that "..." after the phone restart it will begin to freeze up again. So, i used that IP (instead of Mac address) So i can get to the springboard after that i use wifi fix from Dev Team to fix the problem. I read many thread in this forum and haven't find any solution for stuck at the activation screen and AppleMLV868x: unable to load filmware < problem. I think changing this may help someone to get their phone back (but wifi will be grey).

Holy cow... this fixed my freezing at the activation screen.....

    Running ibooter on Mac 10.5.2:

    setenv wifiaddr "192.168.0.210"
    printenv wifiaddr
    saveenv
    fsboot

The iPhone didn't reboot by itself, I did it manually and my activation screen doesn't freeze anymore....

ok! it great i hope it work out perfectly for you guyz. I knew it gonna have the grey wifi issue (since what i find out is that Ziphone will change our bootloader and replace the wifi Mac address with some crapz. Sorry Z, but it happen in random iphone). Here is solution for whoever want their wifi back and having trouble fixing it and still wonder don't know how to tranfer files to Iphone when there no wifi connecting.

First, you need Lib+ to upload some of the payload into iphone (since it doesn't require wifi connection). get this terminal v100, and if you want to use your phone (for now without wifi) just check jailbreak,activation,unlock... Your phone should working now, you'll receipt signal by now (cool huh?).

Alright here come the pain. you need bootneuter in order to flash your bootloader back to original and the only thing can send the bootneuter to iphone is pwn by devteam. You can use other method too (like send the bootneuter.app to iphone via "iphone pc tool" but as far as i know it won't work, you'll receipt error>trust me i tried).

So find any friend who used mac and download pwn 1.1 (work perfect) and go though all the process then finally your bb and bl will be flash successfully with bootneuter (no more error -5 ew .

Note that your wifi still grey (of course because you haven't change the wifi mac address yet). Now, go drink some water and back to lovely+shiny iphone. Download "Iphone Pc tool" (it in the tools section) ) and also grab the "swifi" from "Fix grey wifi problem".

Go to this directory /usr/bin (put the swifi in this direction).

Ready? Now, go to "bootneuter" it should be in your iphone already. power it up and make sure you match this "4.6 > neuter (on)>fakeblank (on)>unlock (on).
    Wait for few min.

Your phone will back to business . Now, open up Lib+ and Check the "terminal v100" it will automatic install directly to your phone.

Open up terminal and type this

    cd /usr/bin

    then

    chmod 755 swifi

    launchctl unload /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist

remember remember it case sensitive guyyyyy . and it won't let you del if you have typo problemmm. So,do it slow and make sure everything is righttt.

Then to make sure you killed the CommCenter type this

    killall -9 CommCenter

it will say "no process was found"<<<something like this (it mean u killed it, poor CommCenter)

    then type this

    swifi

you should get a good table....

then type the swifi again(just to make sure)

if it say "nothing to fix" then you finee (yeah, wifi should work now, if it is not please restore your phone and do again, sorry to say that).

Now, put the phone in restore mode (power button+Home then hold Home while phone booting up)

    use Ibooterwin

    then type this:

    radio readnvram

write down the bluetooth address: 00:1f:dd......40

your wifi address should be like this : 00:1f:dd....41(plus +1 to the last digit)

    then type :

    setenv wifiaddr "00:1f:dd....41"

    printenv wifiaddr

    saveenv

    fsboot

.If your wifi back to life and screen work perfectly (you should lap your hand and get drunk to night)

If it is not sorry, please refer to Hardware section.

Good Luck to all of you.
