[Solution] Repair needed, or 1012 - 1011 iTunes error
I know everyboday are waiting for iFree, cause your iPhone was a brick. But you need still wait for the reason we don't know.
Finally, I find a works solution for these bricks, it works for the condition i write in the title.
it's my rest time, Please email me about your requirments, I will reply your question.
i just general write the solution, Later this week, i will write the details.
- Restore your iPhone to 2.0 beta, with error 1002, or 1012,1011,
-run the start from the unzip file.
-restore your iPhone to 1.1.2 with error 1012,
-use iLiberty to jailbreak your iphone with "BootNeuter" function.
-In Bootneuter, you must choise 3,9 ON, Neuter ON, FakeBlank ON, don't do any others
-The Bootneuter will failed on "Flashing baseband failed, but Bootloader is sucessful"
-Restore your iPhone to 1.1.2 or 1.1.4
-Finally, you will complete finish restore without errors
This is the files address i mentioned in the steps
Let me know if it works for you,
Just one words: it's not brick if your iphone can into recovery mode,
The reason for getting some errors when you restore your iphone was,
-you didn't make your BL into 3.9FB,
so it's dangers if your iphone still on BL original version.
Thank you for posting but I have problem understanding your post.
Let me rephrase and ask you step by step.
Restore your iPhone to 2.0 beta, with error 1002, or 1012,1011,
-OK, the file you mentioned is "ZiPhone_patched_by_kIREmK_04.05.02_G_(2).zip" .What exactly does this do? Downgrade the BB ? If so, what BB do you end up with?
run the start from the unzip file.

Didnt work ,BootNeuter stucks at Determining settings...
Doctor of the all iPhone'S
Check and re-Downgrade your bootloader to the original one, 3.9BL. and erase your damaged baseband.

Thanks alot tonyxu!!
Your solution did not work for me, but the idea with Firmware 2.0 was great!!!
My iPhone works again with WiFi, Bluetooth, it has the original MAC Addresses back, IMEI is back...
What i did:
1. - Restore to Firmware 2.0 5A240d (5A258f did not work) (if someone needs it just mail me "sayen(at)sayen(dot)ch" )
The restore was successfull. After the restore i allready had my SerialNo. back!!!
2. - Restore to 1.1.4 (1.1.2 did not work)
3. - Used iLiberty+ to Jailbreak, Activate and install BSD and installer
Then my Wifi and everything was back!!
Now i was with Firmware 1.1.4 and Baseband from 2.0 (04.05.01_G)
4. - Set AutoLock to NEVER
5. - In installer add Source http://installer.iClarified.com
6. - Search for "Baseband Eraser (1.2)" and install it. (This erases the baseband from 2.0)
7. - Restore again to 1.1.4
now you have also the Baseband from 1.1.4!
Now you can use any programm to unlock you iPhone normaly (please not ZiPhone )
Let us know if it worked for you.
I will try maybe allready today on a second iPhone with this Problem.

or could you give me your yahoo ID?
I dont have any Yahoo or MSN or things like that sorry.
Wich Version of 2.0 did you use? 5A240d?
You have to put it in Recovery mode before the restore...
The last thing that i did before restoring to 2.0 was to restore to 1.1.4 (with an error i belive)
Maybe you have to restore it first to 1.1.4 like me...
