After trying ALL the possible guides to solve this with no luck now im trying this here.
    So

I have already uploaded mknod to sbin directory through ibrckr
and i gave to mknod read /write acces with the command chmod +x mknod

    Every time that i run the command : sbin/mknod /private/var/root/Media/disk c 14 1
on mobile trerminal i get " no such file or directory sbin/mknod"
    What im doing whrong?
    chmod +x mknod

    I think is that.
Or u didnt uploaded the file.

If you did chmod +x mknod into /sbin folder, then you must go to root (cd / command) before execute sbin/mknod /private/var/root/Media/disk c 14 1

Edit: Nop. It didn't worked out. The iphone was succefully updated to 1.1.2, activated and jailbroken, but STILL NO WIFI.

Now I need to check a hardware issue.

    Thanks anyway.

    OMG!!!

are you guys telling me it may be a hardware problem

may I should keep trying reflsh baseband or do the revirgin in different ways
and see what kind of miracle would happen

I am in the same boat.

    My IMEI is good.
I have virginized my iphone baseband
    I have upgraded/downgraded/upgraded from 1.0.2 to 1.1.1 to 1.1.2
    and still no luck
    Bluetooth works fine as well.

    This has me stumped
