    Thanks a lot!
YAY! Well done for persevering! I just *knew* I wasn't going crazy. I'm really, really pleased for you. It would be nice if you could zip up and provide a link for the exact combination of files you used so others could try them.

Any thoughts? Thanks.
As I understand it there are two "levels" of restore mode. If you're in the more "deep" restore mode then you cannot boot the phone in normal mode - it's like DFU mode but showing the restore mode symbol. So you must restore it again. Only when it is truly in the reversible "light" restore mode can you kick it back into normal mode with any of the tools mentioned. In short - try restoring again.

im stuck at 'cant write' .i tried with many different files and methods but no success.i tried putting files in /usr/bin or making new folder in bin and put files in it,set permissions to 777 all files, chmod +x ienew etc.always stuck at 'cant write'. i have bad calibration data on device tree problem on the iphone from the beginning and still same.any ideas?oh by the way,i tried with iliberty+ to eraser and rewrite baseband but it stuck at 'checking bootloader'.and my iphone damaged while i connect the usb cable,it was working very well, unbelievable
