According to http://www.wtng.info/wtng-56-cl.html my templates are correct and you are wrong. It is "9" + 7 or 8 digits, not 8 or 9 digits.

Mobile subscriber numbers in Chile were expanded from 8 to 9 digits on 19 August 2006 (to format +56 9 xxxxxxxx).
Previously, mobile numbers were of form +56 8 xxxxxxx or +56 9 xxxxxxx. Summary of conversion:
Old numbers New numbers
----------- -----------
+56 8 xxxxxxx +56 9 8xxxxxxx
+56 9 xxxxxxx +56 9 9xxxxxxx
examples Mobile
+56 9 9 123 4567
+56 9 8 123 4567
+56 9 7 123 4567
example local Stgo. (this OK)
+56 02 123 4567
example other areas
+56 32 123 456

Why are you quoting my source? You are still wrong.
Here are two mobile phone numbers that I found with Google.
+56 9 3240212
+56 9 82891650
The first one is "9" + 7 digits. The second one is "9" + 8 digits. My templates handle both cases. You don't need to add an extra "#" to the templates, there is nothing wrong with them, they work fine.

timschuerewegen not understand why,
but as I say no worked fine with 7 #.... As you like my solution is so simple that adding one # This can verify another person in Chile.
now working fine and that's important,
I am not saying that you are wrong with your template, Because if she could solve the problem before.
regards

Please accept that you are wrong and I am right.
Here is the proof.
With my "+ + + + 9 #######;########" template.
# Framework AppSupport decompo*******Number +5691234567 cl
1,"56","","9","1234567"
# Framework AppSupport decompo*******Number +56912345678 cl
1,"56","","9","12345678"
With your "+ + + + 9 ########;########" template.
# Framework AppSupport decompo*******Number +5691234567 cl
1,"56","","91","234567"
# Framework AppSupport decompo*******Number +56912345678 cl
1,"56","","9","12345678"
With your "+ + + + 9 ########;#########" template.
# Framework AppSupport decompo*******Number +5691234567 cl
1,"56","","91","234567"
# Framework AppSupport decompo*******Number +56912345678 cl
1,"56","","9","12345678"
As you can see the only situation where a "9" + 7 or 8 digits phone number is correctly decomposed is ... my template.
End of story!

anyone got a patched AppSupport file for the uk?
i am having problems with this.
i can only get land lines calling me to display the name.
if a mobile calls me, the number in the following format is displayed:
0xxxxxxxxxx
i have the contact (who is calling me) as:
+44xxxxxxxxxx
SMSs are fine - it's just the incoming call from a mobile that don't get the name displayed :-(
thanks

You have to rebuild the ABPhoneLastFour table in the address book database.
