Maybe adding another string with the 54 plus the 9 of out-of-the-country-call-to-mobile, like

    ar 54 00 0 2 8
    ar 54 00 0 3 7
    ar 54 00 0 4 6
    ar 54 00 0 5 5

    ar 549 00 0 2 8
    ar 549 00 0 3 7
    ar 549 00 0 4 6
    ar 549 00 0 5 5

(although I've tried this and didn't work)

With the 1.1.1 and before method the matching was ok.
Now it's being a pain... to the point to downgrade to 1.1.1 .

Any sugestions, please... I'm ready to try any crazy ideas!

    TIA
    Sounds logical

tim you are of great help to us all! i still have not checked if this works, because right now I am having a heated discussion for the lack of support from iphonehellas the stealthsim distributor in greece, im sorry to bother you again, but im sure most people here specially the new comers like me would really like to know the detailed steps and files needed to check phone numbers with your phone number dynamic library. Once again many thanks for your dedication...

    ++++ ## #######

Okay this isn't working as well as i thought it would. This is what's happening.

Phone numbers are storred in ## ### ### fromat in the address book since all dialing is done pretty much by 0# ### ### or 70 ### ###

And call display shows up in that format as well when people call you.

To send text messages you would use the same format BUT when you RECEIVE text messages they show up as +961 # ### ### or +961 70 ### ###

I have a text message in my sms program with the FULL number and the name in my phonebook with the local number it's not matching. Should this workaround match both parts? If i have the name stored in the local format ## ### ### and try dialing using the keypad 961## ### ### it doesn't match it either.

    Default Question from another thread

    Hey Tim,
there are so many threads trying to deal with the problem. In another I tried to help a guy that was not sure about using your system or iWorld. so right now he got yours installed and working but got a question I could not answer. He probably is from Hong Kong. I helped out with a step-by-step of your system using the PhoneNumberTemplates. I of cause referred to the thread here but some newbies feel uncomfortable checking - almost 100 pages ;-)

    question:

Thanks for the detailed guide for the SMS contact name fix. I've done all the things you said on the post, tested them but i still have problems with it. My iphone contacts are stored as follows
    +85212345678
When i recieve calls, i don't have a probem with the contact name, but when i receive an SMS, it shows 85212345678 and not the contact name. Am i doing somthing wrong? Please advice.

Would be great if you could help out, he sent me a pm, I was referring to your thread.

    thx, volkspost

Those templates appear to be working just fine. Try running the same tests on your iPhone and compare the output with mine.

    Code:
    # Framework AppSupport decompo*******Number 01123456 lb
    1,"961","0","1","123456"
    # Framework AppSupport decompo*******Number 70123456 lb
    1,"961","","70","123456"
    # Framework AppSupport decompo*******Number +9611123456 lb
    1,"961","","1","123456"
    # Framework AppSupport decompo*******Number +96170123456 lb
    1,"961","","70","123456"

Alright i guess i'll just wait till i get there then in a couple weeks. I couldn't get decompo*******number working on my windows box and checkappsupport isn't ppc friendly.
