Try describing exactly what you did.

ok..... now I'm probably just being stupid, but I need to create a patched file to upload to my iPhone right ??

what I tried to do just now was to use the pntedit app and create my own patched file

the output from my PhoneNumberTemplates.txt after I edited it is

    is 354 00 0 0 7
    us 1 011 1 3 7
    ca 1 011 1 3 7
    fr 33 00 0 1 8
    fr 33 40 0 1 8
    fr 33 50 0 1 8
    fr 33 70 0 1 8
    fr 33 90 0 1 8
    uk 44 00 0 3 7
    it 39 00 - 1 8
    it 39 00 - 2 7
    it 39 00 - 3 6
    it 39 00 - 4 5
    de 49 00 0 2 7
    de 49 00 0 3 6
    de 49 00 0 4 5
    de 49 00 0 5 4
    de 49 00 0 2 8
    de 49 00 0 3 7
    de 49 00 0 4 6
    de 49 00 0 5 5
    de 49 00 0 2 9
    de 49 00 0 3 8
    de 49 00 0 4 7
    de 49 00 0 5 6
    jp 81 010 0 1 9
    jp 81 010 0 2 8
    jp 81 010 0 3 7
    jp 81 010 0 4 6
    jp 81 010 0 5 5
    cn 86 00 0 0 11
    cn 86 00 0 2 8
    cn 86 00 0 3 7

This is now inside a file called Appsupport.patched

Am I correct in thinking that I only need to rename Appsupport.patched to Appsupport and upload it to my iPhone ?

In Honduras the numbers for mobile are 8 digits, and 7 digits for landline.
What files I have to upload to my phone? I'm a little confused.

Download latest build of "PhoneNumber Dynamic Library" from my homepage. Extract contents of zip file into AppSupport.framework directory on your iPhone, overwriting the AppSupport file. Grab latest "Phone Number Templates" file from my homepage. Put it in AppSupport.framework/Support directory on your iPhone, overwriting the old one.

Only problem, "Phone Number Templates" file does not contain templates for Honduras. Therefore the following questions...

    1. Point me to a list of complete/up-to-date area codes for both landline and mobile phone numbers.
    2. Is NDD mandatory or optional when you dial "area code + subscriber number"? ie. do you need to dial "0" + area code + subscriber number or just area code + subscriber number.

    Hi timschuerewegen,

For Malta (mt) the phone numbers that we have are:

    Mobiles:

    9#######
    7#######

    Landlines
    2#######

    Foreign:
    00 etc or +

However all calls that I receive have the local extension +356 so they do not match the phone numbers I have saved that do nto have the extension. How can I fix it please?

Also can you add the malta details to your tempaltes please?

    Thansk in advance

Try "mt 356 00 21 - ########" and let me know if it works.

Hi Tim, thanks for the hard work. I had a small request: There are too many builds of the ApSupport tool available from your repository. It might be a good idea to put a small change-log in each of the builds so that it becomes easier to select the one most suited to one's needs.

    thanks.
