You need to set AllowEDGEEditing to true, like:
<key>AllowEDGEEditing</key>
<true/>
Not having this key or setting it to false will cause the EDGE settings in Settings->Network to be hidden

The first version of my improved phone number support for firmware 1.1.2 is ready. I would like some feedback before I release it to the general public. If you need any of the 3 improvements I made (see my previous posts on the last few pages of this thread) then send me a PM and I'll share the download link with you. Support is free.

Hey tim,
i was in London a couple of days and bought a pay as you go Vodafone sim card. Apparently when I inserted the sim card the numbers reverted back to +xx xxxxxxx. However, when I put in my local sim card in the numbers reverted back to my contacts' names. Any solution to this?
thanks

Is this the same problem than the one pierreh described on the previous page?

Well not exactly, +65 xxxxxxxx is my local number format. However, when I used a pay as you go Vodafone sim card on the same phone when I was in London, instead of my contact's name appearing in the sms inbox I get +65 xxxxxxxx. However, when I used my own sim card, my contact's name does re-appear in my sms inbox.
thanks

When you used the UK SIM card a phone number was displayed instead of a contact name. What was the displayed phone number? What is the number in your addresss book for that contact? Please do not use "xxxx". Instead use "123.." for area code and "123.." for subscriber number.

Avieggas, I would like to be more precise about my question to program the SMS opening in Operatory services. For example, when you have this key:
<key>ServiceCode</key>
<string>777</string>
<key>ServiceName</key>
<string>Service client</string>
When you are in Operatory services, and you press on Service client 777, the iphone is going to dial 777.
Now, I would like a " ServiceCode" so that when I press that for example 777, the iphone will open the SMS program with a new SMS to 777;
Is it possible or not , and HOW????
THANKS A LOT , and sorry for the details and for my insistance
