And it will work. It's the same as US and Canada, with the Bermuda ISO country code. The area code is irrelevant.
I tried this line and it did not work even after a restart. I think I may be missing something else. I have read about creating a plist for my operator and symlinking it further back in this thread but could not understand exactly what to do. Is there something that I am missing?

You need the carrier specific plist and the symlink too.

I have read this thread over and over and can't seem to figure out how to add the carrier specific plist and symlink. How exactly would I go about doing this? Sorry I am being a nuisance aviegas this thing has just been driving me crazy since yesterday trying to get it to work.

Hi.
Exellent guide on the AppSupport patch, Did everithing in this post to patch the file and now I get all my calls and SMS identified correctly; still one issue left that is driving me crazy and what actually made me move up to 1.1.2 but no solution.
I get a lot of SMS messages with phone numers in them, the thing is that those numbers do not link to valid phones (they doesn't get blue and underline).
The number format in my contry is as follows: (XX) XXXXXXX (total of 9 numbers) I get a link to a phone number only when a get a message with a 10+ numbers.
what I think I need is to modify the Number format to have 9 numbers instead of 10 but no idea how to.
thanks
PS. Sorry my bad english

We need more info to be able to help. But if you are refering the the numbers in the SMS text, that is not related to the matching we are talking about.
