Hi timschuerewegen
what would be the correct formate then for bb and ja cause I go there sometime aswel
Thanks in advance...
My aim is the stop the sms/phone crashing when in Jamaica. This what I have done so far
ssh root@192.168.1.6 into my phone and added the MNC/MCC for Digicel an C&W
ln -s /System/Library/Frameworks/CoreTelephony.framework/Support/UnknownCarrier.plist /System/Library/Frameworks/CoreTelephony.framework/Support/33805
ln -s /System/Library/Frameworks/CoreTelephony.framework/Support/UnknownCarrier.plist /System/Library/Frameworks/CoreTelephony.framework/Support/338020
I am on the last step now, the add the App Support part
any input will be greatly appreciated...

It seems that you have missed an important posting: Jamaica is part of the North American Numbering Plan (NANP), so the phone numbers in jamaica use the same rules as US and Canada.
So a single lineis needed:
ja 1 011 1 3 7
That's all you need.
Remove any country you do not need and add that single line.
Tim, as I pointed out NANP implies:
CC=1
IDD=011
NDD=1
Area code=3 digits
Subscriber number=7 digits
These countries are like a single US area code.
This is true for ALL NANP countries: US, Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Canada, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Grenada, Jamaica, Montserrat, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, Turks and Caicos Islands, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, and American Samoa.
Hi aviegas
Thanks a million, hopefully this resolve my sms/phone crash issues i experienced the last time I was there...
