    Hi, I'm having the same problem (Dieego), the caller ID is fine, but the sms only show the number of the sender with a plus (+) sign in front.

    I'm in Ecuador anyone could help?

    Thanks

    Same problem in India(10 digits).. If I even edit the number, it will either work for ure contacts or for ure SMS. Wasnt there a fix for the previous versions? You just install it on ure iPhone and it would all work out well? Are we expecting one for 2.0.1?

    Hi,

    Back in 1.1.4 there was a patch so the iPhone will recognize up to 10 digits for the callerID. ex. My girlfriend's cell phone is +58 412 1234567 and my boss's landline is +58 212 1234567, is there any way my iPhone differenciate both numbers in 2.0.2?

    Thanks.

    BTW, I'm in Venezuela

    You can make it right by doing following changes[only India] base on the phone numbering system in place
    steps are
    Go to UIKit.Framework, download UIPhoneFormats.plist convert it to text and on the "in" India section, replace the default values with within the xml tags.

    <key>in</key>
    <array>
    <string>##########</string>
    <string>00 $</string>
    <string>+91 ##########</string>
    <string>0 ##########</string>
    </array>

    goto AppSupport.Framwork, get the file PhoneNumberTemplates.plist and make add another section in "in" India part

    <key>in</key>
    <array>
    <array>
    <string>91</string>
    <string>00</string>
    <string></string>
    <integer>0</integer>
    <integer>10</integer>
    </array>
    <array>
    <string>91</string>
    <string>00</string>
    <string>0</string>
    <integer>0</integer>
    <integer>10</integer>
    </array>
    <array>
    <string>91</string>
    <string>00</string>
    <string>0</string>
    <integer>2</integer>
    <integer>8</integer>
    </array>
    <array>
    <string>91</string>
    <string>00</string>
    <string>0</string>
    <integer>3</integer>
    <integer>7</integer>
    </array>
    <array>
    <string>91</string>
    <string>00</string>
    <string>0</string>
    <integer>4</integer>
    <integer>6</integer>
    </array>
    <array>
    <string>91</string>
    <string>00</string>
    <string>0</string>
    <integer>5</integer>
    <integer>5</integer>
    </array>
    </array>

    and done, now SMS, contact with "0", "+91" or simple 10 digit mobile/landline all are recognised.

    Any idea if we have something similar to callifo.db for iphone 2.0+ versions. Basically, that feature identified the location of caller numbers...

    is it possible to get the iphone to NOT show the country code when it receives a call? when somebody calls me i always get +56 # ######## but i only get calls from within the country so it's kinda pointless to have the +56 showing everytime

    Default Expert plz. the corrcet (PhoneNumberTemplates.plist)

    HI
    i try caller id fix 1.1.1 but not worked for Saudi Arabia

    Here are our phone formats:

    I. Mobile Phones:
    With international code: +966-5-XXXXXXXX
    Without international code: 05-XXXXXXXX
    966 is country code
    5 is for mobile

    II. Land Lines:
    With international code: +966-X-XXXXXXX
    Without international code: 0X-XXXXXXX

    + sign can be replaced with 00 for international calls.

    I'd appreciate it if anyone can help me resolve the caller ID issue.
    or show me how the to edite the PhoneNumberTemplates.plist file
    and other if required (UIPhoneFormats.plist)
    iphone 3g..
    v2.1 jailbrack
    thanks

    Default Caller ID Firmware 2.2

    I have two legally unlocked iPhones that I use in Dubai and Pakistan.
    In Firmware 2.1 I was able to get the Caller ID working by simply editing PhoneNumberTemplates.plist and adding entry for pk. I was previously able to get Caller ID working perfectly by simply editing PhoneNumberTemplates.plist and adding the following entry:pk

    92
    00
    0
    2
    7

    92
    00
    0
    3
    7

    But this is no longer working in 2.2
    Since I upgraded to 2.2 and jailbroke with Quickpwn 2.2 the Caller ID Fix is no longer working. What has changed in 2.2 Please help. Thanks

    I was able to get caller id working just fine in the old firmware (2.1) aswelll and am in dire need to find a way to fix this thing in 2.2... Does any one have any clue as to which file manages the caller id recognition in the the new firmware? ANY HELP will be great.
