Inside installer, under category "Tweaks (1.1.4)" and install "AppSupport Patch (1.1.4)".

My problem is it slows down the starting time of the app but once started it works fine.

I hope this is what you are looking for.

Tim, is there a place where I can find a clear and complete explanation of the syntax of PhoneNumberTemplates_2.plist? Sorry if it's hidden somewhere in this thread, but looking through the full 127 pages is a bit impractical.

Of course I'm most interested in the SubscriberNumber and AreaCode keys.

Installing Cydia programs on a phone that has no internet connection: read this.

Editing binary .plist, .strings, .nib and .xib files:
    * on your computer: Windows tool / conversion website.
    * on your iPhone: convert those files in a terminal with plutil (installed with Erica Utilities) or edit them with iFile (Cydia links).

looking more into the plists, I've noticed that India has a crazy amount of detail. Could this be causing the slow-down? If so, is there a way to simplify it?

Without appsupport, the application opens up SMS.app in 3 seconds.

Through manual install of appsupport, it opens in 5 seconds.

Through iClarified install, SMS.app opens in eight seconds.

Right now, there are only two conversations in the SMS application. It was a LOT slower when there were forty conversations.
To update, now that there are twenty conversations in SMS.app, a manual install of AppSupport has made SMS open up in 6 seconds (it was five seconds when only two conversations were open). Scrolling through those applications for the first time is painfully slow as well.

I removed appsupport and, again, SMS opens in 3 seconds. AppSupport is definitely the cause of the SMS delay.

Default US and UK regional formath phonebook nuber display

    Hi

I am from Slovenia and my caller ID is working fine except for the phone book display of the numbers.
If I choose the US regional format the numbers are displayed like this +386 (**) ***-*** which is weary useful.
But if I set the regional format to UK (I prefer UK because the calendar week starts with Monday instead of Sunday) the numbers are displayed like this +386********
The called ID still works in the UK format.
Does anybody now if the displaying of the numbers in the UK format can be changed to resemble the US format?

    Hello, everybody:

Here are the complete area codes for Portugal. I didn't read the full thread to see if someone had already posted this, but since it's lacking from PhoneNumberTemplates_2.plist I assume not.

    Code:
    		<key>AreaCode</key>
    		<array>
    			<string>21:#######</string>
    			<string>22:#######</string>
    			<string>2##:######</string>
    			<string>30:#######</string>
    			<string>600:######</string>
    			<string>601:######</string>
    			<string>607:######</string>
    			<string>608:######</string>
    			<string>646:######</string>
    			<string>648:######</string>
    			<string>67:#######</string>
    			<string>705:######*</string>
    			<string>707:######</string>
    			<string>708:######</string>
    			<string>760:######</string>
    			<string>761:######</string>
    			<string>762:######</string>
    			<string>800:######</string>
    			<string>8008:##*</string>
    			<string>802:######</string>
    			<string>808:######</string>
    			<string>809:######</string>
    			<string>882:##*</string>
    			<string>884:##*</string>
    			<string>91:#######</string>
    			<string>92:#######</string>
    			<string>93:#######</string>
    			<string>9480:#####</string>
    			<string>9481:#####</string>
    			<string>9483:#####</string>
    			<string>9484:#####</string>
    			<string>949:######</string>
    			<string>96:#######</string>
    		</array>
I just want to add a simple question: what is the AppSupport.original file for? Is it needed for normal operation or is there as a a simple backup?

    Cheers,

Hi, I use my iPhone in several countries. Out of the box it works in Germany great, all numbers are IDed correctly, no matter their format, sms or phone call. When I arrived in Israel the local numbers didn't show up anymore when calling in. So I installed AppSupport for 1.1.4 from bigboss repo which was included in cydia. Then local numbers work again, but in germany it stopped working for incoming calls.
Removing AppSupport leaves it with both countries not working, and only if I restore the iPhone I get the german numbers working again.
As far as I know AppSupport should work with german numbers - so what's the deal here? what am I missing or doing wrong? The carrier in germany that I use is E-Plus.

    Thanks a lot
