Hello I want to edit the international pack installed by iPlus 1.2, to get a better matching for my country the Netherlands, which is not in the supported list.
Any ideas how to do this? I browsed around on my iPhone, but can't find any relevant files.
Do I need to install the regional patch also or is it already part of the international pack?
Thanks in advance for your insights!

In the payload.zip (if it's the version with international support), you'll find international.tar.
In this, there is \System\Library\Frameworks\AppSupport.framework\Su pport\PhoneNumberTemplates.txt which you can edit or replace according to your wishes.
While you're at it, you might as well edit /System/Library/Frameworks/UIKit.framework/PhoneFormats/UIPhoneFormats.plist to get the display format of phone numbers right.
One issue: you may need to rebuild the archives (i.e. the .tar and the payload.zip of which it is part) on the iPhone or on a Mac or Linux system, otherwise the ownership and permission information is lost. Or, it may be easier to edit the files after completing iPlus.
iPhone 3GS / 3.1.2 JB (PwnageTool) / 04.26.08 carrier-locked, Carrier Logo Fixer / Cydia / 1000 posts on Hackint0sh
Installing Cydia programs on a phone that has no internet connection: read this.
Editing binary .plist, .strings, .nib and .xib files:
* on your computer: Windows tool / conversion website.
* on your iPhone: convert those files in a terminal with plutil (installed with Erica Utilities) or edit them with iFile (Cydia links).

Jim editing the UIPhoneFormats.plist file looks quite complicated, looked in the forum but can't find a good walkthrough for it, is there a tutorial for this?

I am only having problems with SMS, which shows phone number in the format +377XXXXXX; incomming calls show correctly contact name. I have tried AppSupport 1.1.4 patch but seen no difference. Is this something that can be fixed with appSupport or something else?
Also, after editing the phonenumbertemplates.txt and uploading it to iphone, is there anything else that needs to be done (besides restarting phone) so the new changes take effect?
Thanks !
