I originally had copied all my contacts over with iSim. I noticed the caller id wasnt matching. What worked for me is that I had synced my phone and backed up all my contacts in Outlook. I had to restore my phone, and then when I synced my contacts back on, the caller id worked perfectly! Try it out.

The "Framework Tool" is an iPhone binary. You have to execute the UIDefaultCountryCode function as user "mobile" or else the returned country code will be incorrect.

I've been trying to sort out this... AppSupport thing for quite a bit on my 1.1.3.

Thing is, I currently study in Canada, so the AppSupport works just fine.
On the other hand, the thing that doesn't work is when it comes to Singapore numbers. I have a lot of Singaporean numbers in my phonebook, namely because I have a lot of contacts there (travel there a lot), but they don't ever show up right when it comes to dialing and SMSes.

Here's the deal, when I dial a Singapore number from my phone, I use
+65 ######## or
01165########

It works when I dial the number exactly as I saved it in my phonebook. For example, when I saved a number in my phonebook as 12345678, and dial it as 12345678, it shows the contact at the bottom of the number. But when I dial +6512345678 or 0116512345678, it doesn't show.

Anyone can help me here? This happens when it comes to SMS too, by the way.

is there a way to undo iWorld? I'm trying tu use a UK sim after running iWorld and getting crashes. The UK seems to be the only country not on the list.

EDIT: The AppSupport download solved this problem. I guess having the Support subfolder really matters. A practical example of a situation where this solution is really better than iWorld...

now appsupport in installer. Work for me. Not need to edit or ssh thing.

for Switzerland didn't work, i have to ssh into te phone and write the pattern...It's useless this installer solution, it's just a copy-past operation...

I upgraded to 1.1.2 and had a problem with crash, then installed iworld and made it work, but with caller id matching problem. I read all instructon from the thread and manage to make it work for Cyprus. The corect table entry for Cyprus is:
cy 357 00 - 0 8.
