I'm a bit confused about this. My number in Singapore is 8 digits ( for example: 12345678) and right now all of the numbers are like this in the phone "(123) 456-78 so what file should I patch to the direction in the phone? The 7 one or the 8 one? I patched the 8 one but havent seen anything change in the contact. can someone explains to me please?

Hi
It wont change the numbers in the contact, rather it will display the name when the caller calls, as it matched the caller ID to the name.
All those numbers you show are variable? If so, then you need to use the 8 digit one.
For me, in Hungary, I can give an example.
Our numbers are
06 xx yyy-yyyy
06 is a local prefix, always the same, so no need to query that. We are left with 9 digits which change, so I used a 9 digit variable for mine.
We have 3 carriers, and xx changes according to them, 20 30 or 70.
The yyy-yyyy is the actual phonenumber. If you query for 7 digits, you will 99.99999999% be right, unless you have two person in your contact list with the same yyy-yyyy but a different xx numbers.
Hope its clear,
Ben

I am in Singapore too. The 8 digit one works perfect. Someone suggested that I had to have 2 numbers for each contact. One with prefix and one without. This patch saved me loads of time. By the way, if Apple patches this in the next update, are we screwed and have to manually adjust out contacts numbers to one with prefix and one without. But for the time being, this is excellent. Marvellous job TS! Thanks!!
EDIT: I forgot to backup the original one. If anyone has it, please upload it. Thanks!!!!!1

if you restore it will come back, restore does not effect your unlock

Edit:
Just forget all I was talking about...
Do you know that there is a difference between System/Library and just Library...
Well I have the same problem.
But I can't get it work, even after the patch.
There was no AppSupport.framework so I created the folder and then copied the file. Reboot. But nothing.
There is also no AddressbookUI.framework. The only one is the SummerBoard/Springboard.framework.
My iPhone just worked fine from the beginning and displayed names to the +49- saved numbers.
Just since a few days it won't work any more.
I installed and uninstalled some of the third party softwares with the installer. It seems to me that something went wrong.
Does anyone have a suggestion??
Regards,
DRO

Let me know if you have any success.
