    Default Dont waste your time

    I have to say that this method is just a crap. The main point here is to upgrade the baseband to 04.05.01 and then back to 04.04.05 using bbupdater. But since error 1011 mostly caused by bootloader corruption, bbupdater here is useless.
    just unload CommCenter and type bbupdater -v in Terminal, if you get "baseband unresponsive to pinging..." or "bootloader is too old...", forget this solution. Restore or update to beta d in this case also is a waste of time. you will get the same 1011 error and just OS is upgraded not baseband.

    not everyone has a BL corrupted and JSN1 was clear about this: this method is a beta less effective than the final version.
    anyway this is not a simple problem but one of the worse and we need to keep our fingers crossed for the final method because it is the only chance we have...

    If you don't like it make your own "crap". I'm not receiving a single cent for
    helping people with this error, even, I created 1011 error on one of my iPhones in
    purpose to try to help with this. Please get out of this thread.

    I've been watching this thread with great hope for a while and want you to rest assured that you will receive a number of cents once your program makes my iPhone live again.
    I really appreciate your work and dedication and -- even as a new member -- would like to encourage others to do the same, not only with words.

    @malhaar

    Also try'd to do this a few days ago, but got stuck at: "Spamming AT, waiting for response."
    Is this the same as your's or do you get past that point?
    if so:
    • What are you using (gbootloader, ..)?
    • witch secpack are you using?
    • how did your iPhone got the 1011 (hardware unlock)?
