    Please correct me if I'm wrong.
    Any idea on how you would reprogram the flash?

    I've obviously gone in way above my competency level - that'll teach me. I'll try anything to get this working again.

    ienew should work with 4.6.
    Remember that this is the method to downgrade 4.6 to 3.9.
    ienew is used to erase the flash on 4.6 bootloader.
    Have you guys try to use the secpack from 2.0 beta?

    Where can I find it? At George Zhu's Blog secpacks are only available until 1.1.4

    Is there anyway I can upgrade the Baseband Bootloader as recommended by bbupdater? I know that you can if you issue a bbupdater -l command. It asks for a .fls file but don't know where to get it. (And don't think I haven't tried)

    Yea, you're right. I was thinking of ieraser.
    Anyway, there's some kind of corrupted bootloaders that seems impossible to recover, no matter what secpack you use.
    That's why I think that removing the flash to reprogramming it may become the commboard usable again.

    When it is in a state of forever bricked.
    I don't think we can erase the flash and reprogram it.
    We need to replace the commboard.
    I might be wrong!

    Both secpacks had the same result.
    It doesn't even get to read the secpack file, since I later removed the file and issue the same commands: I had the very same result.

    @marx
    Have you tried other methods from this forum like iFix1011?

    It has been awhile that I don't deal with this. Lets me collecting infor again, maybe I can find a way for your iphone.

    Too bad your iphone can't go back to 1.0.2, if you can go back to 1.0.2 maybe it can skip resetting the baseband as newer firmware. Therefore it would work.

    I just tried iFix1011. It was probably one of the last methods I hadn't tried.
    No change here, same result.

    I'll keep trying, but it appears to me that what isn't responding is the baseband since I get the same result with or without a secpack file.

    @NewWayAround
    Where's the baseband stored?
    I have another iPhone... maybe I can put the good CommBoard on the bad iPhone and see if the testpoint method works.

    Do you think this may work?

    @marx

    If you have a working commboard, you don't need to repair it or using testpoint.
    When you replace the non working commboard (bootloader and baseband in there) with a working one, of course it should work right away.
