welll people i finaly decided i want to upgrade yesterday so i read and read left and right to find how to upgrade .. the prob was i didnt know how my phone was unlocked since i had 1.0.2 i found a nice guid i think its called bigbosses method its a step per step guide (http://iphone.ranova.org/index.shtml) they told me to virginize ..i succesfully did it (download the nessesary files bla bla ) after the virginizing was over my network was no longer found so i guess it worked .... moreover evreything else worked ..my phone didnt lock or anything just no network ... the next step was to upgrade to 1.1.1 but i tunes only prompts me to upgrade to 1.1.2 so i declined and i had no idea how to upgrade to 1.1.1 so not knowing how to upgrade and needing a phone to call i clicked Anysim which was asked by the guide to be downloaded with other files (BSD system, VT-term, Virginizing scripts, Anysim 1.1)...after it finnished nework was back on track ..so people after reading this what to do how to upgrade shall i restore ... im lost..just gimme a link to the easiest safest 1.1.1 phone total upgrade ...please tell me what o do ...thnks




oh btw question is idemocracy gonna unlock OTB week 44-45 1.1.2 phones ?

u need to download the 1.1.1 firmware image, there's a mirror on hackintosh, then leave it on ur desktop, and when u go to upgrade shift click the upgrade button and choose the 1.1.1 firmware file u just downloaded on your desktop.

so as u read my previous post ...to cut to the chase i have 1.02 Firm ware virginized it and couldnt find the 1.1.1 upgrade to continue on jailbreaking ...what so ever ....


so i Anysim'd it using Anysim1.1 when it was 1.0.2 since i had no network coverage and couldnt upgrade :S network came back

so practicaly i didnt do anything

now i found the restore firmware file 1.1.1 on the iunlock site im downloading it atm when it finnishes should i ...Shift click upgrade or shift click restore ? is it safe since i used anysim1.1 or should i reverginize ? please help

.... OR am i doing the whole thing wrong if yes where do i get the UPGRADE FIle 1.1.1 (post link plz)

if you used anySIM 1.1, you are good to go for the upgrade. The virginization will have taken care of any potential bricking issues when you go from 1.02 to 1.1.1. Good luck and be sure to post your results. Also, what virginize pack did you use?
